Williamsburg, Brooklyn has an indoor (and outdoor) flea markets that attract a lot of shoppers.  They sell all kinds of art, crafts (from paintings to jewelry to photographs, posters, clothing designed by young aspiring designers, hat makers, perfume/fragrance start-ups, specially designed leather goods, vintage clothing, vintage books/records.  Noteworthy though is the fact that most of the items are unique and different and yet reasonably priced.  The flea market is housed in a warehouse -- nothing fancy.  However, security is pretty good.
