New Rochelle should reconfigure existing regulations, and institute a comprehensive program to identify, solicit, and facilitate the relocation of a variety of businesses within the County and the region. This would apply to retail stores such as Wegmans, Modern Myths and The Voracious Reader, as well as industries and functions such as fashion modeling, filming, recording music, digital media, healthcare technology and services, corporate back-offices and hospitality. The key is to target specific diverse but complimentary businesses, industries and functions to provide a robust business community with the accompanying local jobs, services, goods and tax revenues.
